Various analysts have suggested that California prices are likely to be moderate during the first compliance period but could jump sharply after that. The panel in this session will look at strategies for compliance after 2014.
Harold is a Senior Manager in Pacific Gas and Electric Company’s Energy Procurement group and leads the California cap-and-trade commercial implementation effort for PG&E. Prior assignments at PG&E include managing forward physical and financial transactions for PG&E’s Core Gas Supply department and running procurement solicitations for conventional energy and capacity products. Harold started his energy market career at Chevron. Harold has extensive experience trading in and following energy markets including natural gas, crude oil and oil products and seeks to understand supply and demand factors that drive the energy markets. Harold has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Santa Clara University and a Master’s degree in Finance from Golden Gate University.
